Safety you can't see – until you need it. The Samshield Shield'Rup combines a patented side-opening mechanism with an elegant design. In a fall, the stirrup releases the foot and then automatically returns to its original position.

Your benefits

180° safety opening: under pressure during a fall, the side branch opens by up to 180° via a cable and spring system and then closes again on its own.
Aeronautical aluminium with steel insert: extremely resistant – even with the branch open.
Twisted, off-centre leather attachment: the stirrup is easier to pick up again if lost and hangs balanced.
Angled tread: supports a correct leg and heel position for a secure footing.
Elastomer cushioning under the tread: absorbs shocks and vibrations and is easy on the joints.
Interchangeable treads: Standard Grip or Extra Grip with spikes.

Scope of delivery

Frequently asked questions

Does the stirrup also open during normal riding?

For which discipline?
For jumping, dressage and leisure riding; the Extra Grip tread with spikes offers additional grip, e.g. in show jumping and cross-country.
